Overview

Mechanical Engineering is the branch that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. A qualified mechanical engineerin addition to his core envelop of technology possesses knowledge of computer applications, electricity, structures, mathematics, and physics, plus they are required to have some understanding of social, environmental, and economic factors. People with mechanical engineering skills are highly valued in society and their salaries reflect that fact. Field of Production, Service Sector, Aviation, Transportation, Shipping Industry, Defense Services, Research & Development, Power Generation, Automotive Industry etc. are some exemplary areas wherein a Mechanical Engineer plays key role.
